On Parkinson's "Law":
Work expands to fill the time allocated for it.
Parkinson's Law is a long way from being axiomatic. It's not a law in the same sense that Newton's law is a law. Newton was a scientist. He investigated the gravitational effect according to the strictest scientific method. His law was only propounded after rigorous verification and testing. It has stood the test of some two hundred years of subsequent study.
Parkinson was not a scientist. He collected no data, he probably didn't even understand the rules of statistical inference. Parkinson was a humorist. His "law" didn't catch on because it was so true. It caught on because it was funny.

Face facts. This awful thing has happenned. I can't roll back the clock. This sucks.
Choose life, not death. I want to find hope and create options for a positive future.
Reach out. No one survives alone. Isolation will kill us. Let others into our lifes.
Get moving. You have to get up and out of the house. 
Give back. Become a benefactor, not just a beneficiary. Yes, you will add value.

Смотря какая ложь. День рождения. Когда разбиваешь допитую бутылку шампанского о бордюр и кричишь - "У нас будет двое детей, мальчик и девочка!". Ложь? Ложь.

Don’t get married too soon

I got married when I was 32. That’s about the right age. Until you’re about that age, you may not know who you are. You also may not know who you’re marrying.
